Most of us wouldn’t dream of putting the car in drive without our seat belt buckled. But for many pet parent, pets are still given free range of the vehicle during trips.
This can be dangerous on two levels: first a dog can be highly distracting to the driver when they are moving through the car, and secondly in the event of a collision an unrestrained pet can do a lot of damage to itself and its fellow passengers.
